How will the Community Utilities model work as a Property Owner?

As a property owner you are responsible for the bills, provided by Community Utilities.

If you are letting your property out, either directly or through an agent, it remains your responsibility to ensure we are notified of any tenancy changes to ensure that our bills are being sent to the tenant responsible at that time.

 

If for any reason we are not notified of home moves or change of tenancy information, you as the owner will continue to receive bills for your property.

The information we require will be:

  • Tenant name

  • Tenant email address

  • Tenant contract telephone number

  • Tenant move in or move out date

  • Meter reads for all relevant utilities being billed under Community Utilities service on the day of move in or move out
